Biographie

Since moving to Morocco from the United States in 1980, Dana has been a university teacher, film technician, partner in a production services company, costume manufacturer, designer, and businesswoman. In 2002 she created Made in Marrakesh, a company that focuses on the design and production of quality products, film costumes among them, that combine the traditional craft of the artisan with modern industrial techniques.

As of 2006, Made in Marrakesh has introduced a collection of women's prêt-a-porter, MIM, in the United States and Europe made from an exclusive collection of fabric hand-dyed by master dyers in a women's dyeing cooperative in the Sahara Desert.
